Phainos

Event Tracking by Phainos

Measure the real impact of your brand event.

See who showed up, what they shared, which creators drove impact, and how far the event travelled on social.

The event was great. The report is still a guess.

Brands spend serious budgets on launches, run clubs, pop-ups and press days. Hundreds attend. Creators post. The room feels alive. Then the report arrives: photos, estimated reach and a slide saying engagement was strong. What's usually missing is what actually happened.

  • A group of creators gathered together outdoors

Which creators drove the most conversation?

Ranked by the impact they created, not the size of their following.

  • One person held in focus within a moving crowd

Which moments drove the most content?

See when and where people actually started sharing.

  • Three athletes talking together after a session

Who posted, and what did they say?

Track attendee output, content and sentiment.

  • A cyclist pausing with visible equipment after an outdoor event

What happened after the event ended?

Measure how far the impact carried into the days and weeks that followed.

Three phases. One connected picture

Phase one

Before the event

We map who will be in the room: invited creators, press, community members and the public. We agree on what to track and design the on-site mechanics, meaning the small moments that make people want to post. Attendees connect their social handle at check-in, with consent handled properly.

Phase two

During the event

Check-in turns the crowd into a group you can follow. Posts, stories, mentions and tags are captured as they happen and shown to your team on site, so what is working in the room can be adjusted while the room is still full rather than noted in a deck afterwards.

Phase three

After the event

Most of the content and nearly all of the conversation arrives once the doors have closed, so the window stays open. Everything is attributed back to the cohort and the moment that produced it, then written up as findings and a recommendation for the next one.

What lands on your desk

  • A group of participants gathered against an open blue sky

A tracked creator and attendee list

Every person we follow, grouped by cohort, with their output during and after the event.

  • Two athletes celebrating together beside a court

    A social check-in

A simple flow at the door where attendees link their handle. It turns an anonymous crowd into a group you can measure.

  • Three participants crossing an open mountain landscape

    Live tracking on the day

Posts, stories, mentions and tags as they happen, visible to your team on site.

  • A tennis player walking across a clay court after play

    Sentiment and on-brand check

What the audience actually said back, and whether the content that came out of the room looked like your brand.

  • A group of friends talking together on outdoor city steps

    Attribution

Which creators, which moments and which content pieces produced the reach and the conversation. Ranked, with the numbers behind the ranking.

  • A basketball player viewed from above on an outdoor court

    The event report

A written document in the Phainos voice, with clear findings and recommendations for the next event. Designed to be forwarded to leadership without a cover email.

Building with adidas

Three activation pilots in 2026, each bigger than the last. Most recently: the Adizero Dropset Pro launch in London, where we tracked the event's social impact and how creators helped carry the message beyond the event itself.

“The tracking gave us a much clearer picture of the impact our event had on social, beyond what we could see on the day.”

Frequently asked questions

Can’t find what you’re looking for?

How do you handle attendee data and consent?

Attendees connect their social handle at check-in and are told what will be tracked. Consent is recorded and can be withdrawn at any time. We only store the handle and relevant public content, not personal contact details.

Which platforms do you track?

Instagram and TikTok, including Stories. These are where most activation content is shared and where we see the strongest social impact.

How far in advance do you need to be involved?

Ideally three to four weeks before the event, while guest lists, check-in and attendee groups are still being planned.

Does your team need to be on site?

For the first event, we recommend it. After that, most teams can run check-in themselves while we handle the tracking and reporting.

Can this work outside sport?

Yes. It works for any event where people are likely to create and share content. Sport is simply where most of our current examples come from.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on event size, attendee volume and the tracking period. We scope each event individually.
